Title: Pack & Go
Pairing: Michael/G
Notes: I can't stop writing these. Comes after Alaska and July.

G, after lying still for nearly twenty minutes, began to slide slowly out of bed, reaching his hand towards the floor to catch himself. Michael shifted and hmmed low in his throat, nearly a purr. He scooted forward a few inches, pressing his naked chest once more against G's back. G waited a few long breaths until Michael had settled, then shifted away again. Michael's arm came down across G's chest, holding him close. "No," he murmured, and G more felt than heard the word; felt the vibrations through Michael's lips on the back of his neck. It had been the hardest thing he'd done in an age, convincing himself to leave Michael's bed for the last time. Michael didn't want him to go either, and that just made it worse. G took a deep breath and held it, then reached up to cover Michael's hand on his chest. His fingers closed over Michael's, but didn't pull them away.

"Michael, love. I have to get up. I have to finish packing."

Michael stilled behind hiim, and then his head tilted down so that his words sent puffs of air over G's shoulderblade. He seemed to begin to speak, and then hesitated. "We have a little time." His words came slowly, but brought with them a tremendous relief for G. "Just a few more minutes." G had forgotten that sweet, nervous tone in Michael's voice. He exhaled, and smiled, and turned over in Michael's arms. Michael sighed and closed his arms around G's back. Pillowed up against Michael's shoulder, G didn't want to leave.
