We had a fine evening of music last night.  The monthly Green Apple Folk Music Society concert this time was a very new group of GA members still jelling as a group as the opener (not sure of the group name, yet).  An eclectic mix of songs written by them and covers of folk classics.

It snowed (again) today, so we weren't sure what the attendance would be. We have about 50 people here, which is a little little light. If you aren't here, you're missing a wonderful concert. A couple of friends are having a gig at the library. There are about fifteen people intentionally listening, but the sound is heard throughout the library. I love the music these two play.

It's -2 F (-19 C) and windy outside, and I really should be outside shoveling the walk and driveway. I'm not eager to do it. The forecast was for +2 F and it won't make that.

Yesterday I drove up to New London (~1+ hour) to setup and run sound for my friends Men From Earth and The Corner of G&S at the Wolf River Theater. It had started snowing and at a temperature of -1 C the snow was really greasy slippery. I was a bit worried that if the snow continued we wouldn't have much of a turnout. It was above freezing - briefly - a week ago. From the way things are going it looks like we won't be back there any time soon. We've been bouncing between 0 C and 0 F for the last week, and forecast for the next week. After that, it normally gets cold.

Tonight I sing with the choir at FVUUF, then set up and run sound for our Green Apple concert with Mark Dvorak. Then up early to sing three more services with the choir. Should be fun!

An informal acoustic jam that we hold every other week at the Generations Coffeehouse in Neenah. I got to ride my bike also - 2.5 miles each way. Not too bad riding there at 55 F, but the way home at 42 F was hard on the fingertips. (Biking gloves don't have fingertips.)
