Music!
We had a fine evening of music last night. The monthly Green Apple Folk Music Society concert this time was a very new group of GA members still jelling as a group as the opener (not sure of the group name, yet). An eclectic mix of songs written by them and covers of folk classics.
The main concert was the Crystal River Trio, all of whom are also GA members. They invite singing along on the chorus if there is one, and some of the popular songs had a wonderful room filling harmony of response. Most of the GA audience are pretty good singers too, so it was impressive.
I opened the building, worked on and guided the setup and teardown afterward, and closed the building. First in, last out.
Afterward we were invited to a party and jam at Gary's son's house. I met several new people and a cat. Many of the people jamming were quite talented and we covered a lot of popular songs as well as some folk classics.
I got home way beyond my usual bedtime, so slept in this morning. I'm thinking about breakfast, but it may be lunch time before that happens.
