I suppose it's easier to google something if you know how to spell it. I didn't spell the name of the city properly when I posted about our visit. It's 'Bukhara' or 'Bukharo' depending on if you're speaking in Russian or Uzbek. The locals and the souvenirs use the later, most maps use the former ( Read more... )

Finally! I'm in an internet cafe and for some reason I couldn't log on to LJ. Anyway,google images of Bukhara (or Bukharo) and you'll see where in the silk road I am .
