I did it!

After two weeks and approximately 14 hours of futzing, I have a wireless network up and running at M's place.

I'm sitting out on the porch, enjoying the sunshine and the view, and posting from my new laptop.

Whee!

God, I'm such a geek!

My iPod shuffle just arrived!

I'm charging it up and loading up some music on it, so that I can use it later.

Somedays, I'm just a little too geeky. *g* I can't believe I'm all excited about an MP3 player.

Okay, now sad is it that I'm seriously considering changing banks, just so that I can get a free iPod shuffle? I don't even particularly want the Shuffle - not being able to pick your playlist is not exactly a selling point, for me - but I figure a free shuffle will keep me from spending $400-$500 on a 20G iPod, sometime in the next few weeks.
