I found a roommate and I never got the ceiling painted, the carpet cleaned or anything else fixed. While it won't put me in a great financial situation, it does mean I can mostly keep up. He is only going to be here for 3 to 6 months, but that's 3 to 6 months I can keep my house ( Read more... )

So, I wasn't really sure what I was doing this weekend. My neighbors decided I should have a cookout with them rather than having them lug me to Atlanta Pride everyday. I had planned to do some window shopping last week, but I didn't get very far, so I went out this afternoon.  It was a very successful trip.  I found the shower curtain and trash can for the guest room bath, know where to go with my paint chips to find rugs, decided to buy a slipcover for the sofa, which will make things come together better, ( Read more... )
