Friday, 5th September 2008 ... Porto Moniz
As for morning, Mica and I relaxed. Andreia, Carmo, Mica, and I picked up Cátia in town when she finished working and we drove to Porto Moniz to go for a swim in the natural swimming pools.
There were actually two different places with the natural swimming pools. The first one was a public one where I didn't have to pay anything for entrance. I liked swimming, even Mica & Co. said that it was dirty, esp. the water. Well yeah, they might be right, but I enjoyed swimming in there though.
All of us went to the other swimming pools then where we had to pay, but it was quite cheap. I even got the students discount. I enjoyed being in there. I swam a lot which was acutally good. :)
Later, we had lunch in Porto Moniz. Actually, it was not lunch time anymore at all. It was 4 pm, but we didn't have lunch yet. We ate in a lovely small restaurant which was called Esplanada. I liked the food. I ate a hot dog and it was a special one. I know you will now declare me as completely insane because I said that I think the hot dog I ate was a special one, but it was!! I took a pic of it and I think I have uploaded it on Facebook. There were some really small French Fries in the hot dog. Oh, I loved it. Ah yes, a handsome waiter worked in the restaurant as well!! haha
It was already quite late when we arrived at home and we ended up not going anywhere which was ok for us because we had to get up not too late on the following day.
