The Browncoats
First thing that comes to mind when I hear browncoats is Firefly/Serenity. In all honesty, I only started watching episodes of Firefly on Hulu.com this month, but I instantly fell head-over-heels in love with it! So when I saw a band called The Browncoats while checking out 1057thepoint.com (a local St. Louis radio station's website), I immediately thought Firefly. I clicked a link to the band's myspace page and saw that they are, in fact, big fans of the show. Their songs are influenced by Firefly. My favorite is their rendition of The Hero of Canton.
