Concerts = Love
So I went to my 3rd Incubus concert last night. The seats weren't nearly as good as the 1st Incubus show I went to, but I had the time of my life anyway. =D I've loved this band for about 10 years so I would have enjoyed myself from the lawn seats! When I got home from the concert, I put my ticket with the tickets of concerts past and realized something. I've been to at least 1 concert every year since my 1st one in 2002 [it was a Britney Spears show - I idolized her at the time, and I still like her, but don't tell anyone. LOL] My concert experiences have been great, and the artists I've seen are all over the genre map - African, alternative, folk, hip-hop, indie, jazz, metal, pop, punk, R&B, reggae, and soul. No classic rock, blues, country, classical, or latin yet, but I'm hoping to change that. My next concert will be the Steve Carlson one at the Vancouver SPN con; hopefully, I'll be going to his non-convention concert Sunday night too. [I'm still greedily wishing Creation would get Jason Manns for a Friday Q&A and concert.] Then, there's Blink-182 in September. I've been wanting to see them live for ages, and when they broke up I was so sad that I hadn't been to one of their shows. So I'm so excited that they got back together and I can see them live! I <3 concerts.
