GRRRR CHOP!
So, I e-mailed CHOP the other day to see if they made a decision yet regarding the research assistant position that I'd interviewed for, and later that night I get a response saying the position has been filled. This made me very sad...I want a job damn it.
Now today I get another e-mail obviously automated from the woman at CHOP that says this:
Thank you again for applying for my Research Assistant position here at
CHOP. I was fortunate to have many strong applications, including
yours, for the position. However, I regret to inform you that the
position has been filled.
I appreciate your interest in CHOP and wish you the best in your future
endeavors.
So apparently it's not enough that CHOP rejects me...they felt the need to do it TWICE! I know it's an automatic response, but they could've taken me off the list maybe...be a little kinder and more compassionate...these people work with dying children god's sake!!!
And because it was clearly an automatic message, I can't even take solace in the fact that she thought that I had a "strong application" because apparently everyone who applied was told they have a strong application...so it doesn't really matter does it? I hate when people say things they don't mean just for the sake fo saying them. Dumb people!
