Sirius has dropped one of my favorite channels, the Strobe, which played non-stop disco music.  Bastards.

A really great episode of X Minus One, Chain of Command.  The head of security at an atomic lab gets a complaint about a mousetrap...  from a mouse!

I'm listening to one of the strangest radio programs I've ever heard, even weirder than the episode of Suspense! with Fibber McGee & Molly.  It's an episode of Arch Obler's Lights Out titled "Murder in the Script Department".

I found a shop in Omaha that sells tea!  Real tea!  Huzzah!  Nice to see these Cornhuskers have at least some culture.   ;)

Listened to RadioClassics 118 on the way home again.   Today it was Have Gun, Will Travel.  The episode was titled Hanging Cross, about a man who thinks a young boy is his son so he steals him from a tribe of Indians.  An interesting episode, all in all, but what really caught my attention was the credits at the end.   This particular episode was ( Read more... )

Listened to Sirius 118, Radio Classics, on the way to work this morning.

It was an unusual episode of Suspense, titled "Backseat Driver", with none other than Fibber McGee and Molly! It's very strange listening to these two, famous for their comedy, doing an episode of Suspense. It was really good episode too, listen to it if you have the chance

Got to listen to another episode of Dimension X on Sirius 118 in the car this morning.

This episode was Nightfall by Isaac Asimov.

It's about a planet with 6 suns, bathed in eternal daylight except for once every 2500 years when a conjunction and eclipse plunges the planet into darkness... and madness.

On the way to work today I got to listen to an old episode of Dimension X (sponsored by Wheaties!) on Sirius 118.
