Last week my roommate's car broke down.  It turned out a mouse had chewed through the air filter and damaged the Mass Air Flow (MAF) sensor.  It cost about $300 to have repaired ( Read more... )

As I was sitting on the porch, breaking up alfalfa, I noticed a squirrel sitting in the tree outside watching me. I managed to grab my camera and snap a single picture. I guess he's too shy and doesn't like having his picture taken, because he took off.

While cleaning out the garage several months ago, I found a rabbit skull. I guess it had gotten into the garage and died there long ago. There wasn't much left of it; I almost didn't recognize it at first.
