I've just realised...
... that the Scottish actor, Gordon Kennedy http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0448053/, whose career includes playing Little John in BBC Robin Hood, and who also had a small role in Sherlock, The Hounds of Baskerville as barman Gary, plus Being Human as Alex's dad, was at the same school, in the same year, as several of my male friends and boyfriends when I was a teenager. So much of my social life for years involved guys from this particular group, I just can't believe that I don't recognise him from that time! But then again, I didn't wear my specs in those days even though I really needed them. Maybe he was there in the background of every party I ever attended and I just didn't see him, dammit! :-))
