Paper Thin

Nov 21, 2006 21:25

There's been new stuff up on my website for a while that I haven't posted links to, if anyone cares. I'm too lazy to post links right now, so just take a look, if you are so inclined.

Things are so all over the place right now that I don't know where to start... The rain agaisnt my window woke me up last night and it was a nice thing to wake up to. Poetic, somehow. I didn't want to get up for school later, but that's a given. The Caledonian holds the place of Worst Thing In My Life for the moment... it wastes my time and makes me angry. I'm having to edit/re-write every single article, the advisors are disorganized, certain other teachers sass me for the paper not being out, and the advisors complain to high heaven about the paper not being out but can't be bothered to do anything about it. And I was never that interested in the paper to begin with. I've been promised help and promised help, but have yet to see results. This, sir, is war.

The Director from Maude Kerns is coming over on Friday to look at stuff for a potential 2008 show, which is exciting. I've always wanted a one-person show. That being said, I need to paint more. I started something last night, but I did it wrong, so tonight I'm starting it over. I feel like I should clean or something, or at least make cookies or biscuits, before she comes over, but have yet to take any steps in that direction. If nothing else, I figured out what my prom dress is going to look like. I was about to use 16-guage steel for boning, but that won't be necessary anymore. It was a ridiculous idea to begin with, but I still think the idea of being wrapped in steel is exciting. It would be like armor or something... and then I could be a contender.

Maybe Tesla does the Astro. I want a space ship made of tin. Sad music makes me feel happier.
