Planning out a pattern for ceiling lights was tricky, first I measured and marked circles and then tried as hard as I could to imagine being warm, fire burning and that these drawings were giving off a gentle glow, it didn't work.

Hmm the eat mash until you gain half a stone diet really works!

13st 13 before mash consumption.
14st 5 after mash consumprion.
13st 5 a day later.

To celebrate I went to the carvery!

Sawed a hole in the ceiling and found the ring main, however the bundle was 6 cables... hmmm methinks 2 will head up to do a ring for upstairs, but I'm confused as to why that leaves 4 ( Read more... )

The current ceiling, it's artex finish I am about to "fix" and that single light, will become 8 downlights on a pair of remote controlled dimmers.
