Anyways, here's my monthly challenge entry. I felt like writing some smut, which will be in the second part. (It got lengthy, I had to cut it up a bit.) Comment if ye enjoyed, mate. -3

Bahamas, 1/2.

Ian looked out at the horizon, still, crystal clear water stretching out in all directions, a deep orange sun dipping beneath the surface. The sky was a swirl of reds, pinks, and purples around it, littered with stars, just beginning to shine. Ian looked out, taking in the scene around him.
Thick, humid air sat around him, the stuffy heat all but suffocating him. Warm, powdered sand lay below himt, shaped around the palms of his hands, the soles of his feet. The slow-moving tide pulled lukewarm water over his toes, then back out to the brilliant aqua-blue ocean. The sun, slowly turning to a thin thumbnail in the distance, shone its last warm rays toward Ian, toward the secluded beach on which he sat, warming his pale shoulders and chest.
Ian closed his eyes, absorbing the tropical sounds around him. The quiet shush of water crashing weakly against the sand, cracks of twigs and leaves rustling from wild life in the forest brush not-too-far back behind him, the calls of indigenous birds overhead. Everything felt calm around Ian as he sat, waiting. His mind, however, couldn’t find peace from any of it. It raced with anxiety, fear, and jumbled thoughts over what would happen tonight. He sat, eyes closed, attempting to take his mind off of things, and eventually, the very person causing his stress finally appeared through the brush. Ian opened one eye, hearing footsteps and rustling leaves behind him.
“Hey, sorry... I forgot how to find this place…” Anthony called as he walked onto the beach. A knot formed in Ian’s stomach at the sound of his boyfriend’s voice. He opened his other eye, turning his head to see Anthony approaching, sporting the same attire as Ian, swim shorts.
“Took you long enough,” Ian mumbled, unable to take his eyes off of Anthony, hair wavy from lack of straightening, skin tanned from the constant sun of the Bahamas…everything about him looked perfect, and Ian suddenly felt incredibly overwhelmed by the humid heat around him. He felt his face flush as Anthony sat beside him, draping his arms around his knees, looking out to the horizon, just as Ian had done. Ian looked him over for a moment before finally pulling his gaze back to the water, fearing his racing heart was as loud as he thought it was.
The two sat in comfortable silence for a few minutes, watching the sun disappear below the horizon, the sky darkening, stars peaking out all across the sky above them. All the time they sat there, Ian’s mind raced. He wondered if he was ready for this, if he was good enough for Anthony. He wondered if it was tonight, or if maybe it wasn’t. He wondered if, by any chance, Anthony was nervous at all. Ian was, that was something he knew for sure. Nervous, anxious, and excited all at the same time, because he was almost certain that tonight would be the night him and Anthony would have sex for the first time.
It was the signs. They all pointed it out to Ian. Anthony and him had been in a relationship for almost four months, for one thing. Anthony had to be thinking about it. Who wouldn’t, right? Besides that, a few things came up on this vacation. Like, upon finding the secluded beach they currently sat on, what Anthony had said…

Ian pushed low branches out of his face, walking out of the plant life onto a small beach. He smiled, looking out at the beautiful water and sand.
“Hey, Ant, look at this,” Ian called back to his boyfriend, who trailed behind in the brush. He eventually appeared beside him, looking out at the water, too.
“Wow,” Anthony breathed, a small smile spreading on his lips.
“I know, right,” Ian replied, stepping forward into the white sand, powdery and soft against his feet. “God, the beaches here are so…I don’t even know.”
Anthony chuckled behind him. “Yeah. I’m really glad we came here.”
“Yeah, and this beach is so cool. It’s like…hidden,” Ian said, glancing back at the thick forest close behind, surrounding the small beach. “Nowhere near the condos or anything.” Anthony walked up beside him again, looking out at the clear, calm water, nodding.
“Yep,” he replied. Ian turned his head to his boyfriend, who’s mouth had turned up in a small smirk. “We should come here later, have some privacy.” Ian blinked, letting his words sink in. He nodded after a moment.
“Yeah…” he mumbled, turning his head back to the water.

Later, after Ian and Anthony had gotten back from a day of exploring the Bahamas, relaxing at their rented condo, Anthony had offered that they go find that secluded beach again. The eye contact they made at the time seemed to send a silent message between them; it was weird, how that worked, sometimes. It just did. He felt like he knew what Anthony meant. Ian had simply agreed, threw on a bathing suit, and left while Anthony got ready.
Now, sitting, staring out blankly at the sinking sun, Ian wondered if he’d read Anthony correctly. What if he was worrying about nothing? What if he was right to worry? As much as he tried, Ian couldn’t shake the anxious thoughts from his mind. He sat silently, thoughts racing within him.
Finally, Ian’s thoughts were silenced by Anthony. “Ian,” he breathed, turning his head toward the older boy. Ian turned, eyes wide and curious.
“Hmm?” he returned, and Anthony placed a hand on his cheek, leaning in close. Ian leaned in along with him, closing his eyes as Anthony connected their lips in a kiss. Ian’s cheeks reddened, his body already sweating from a mix of anxiety and hot, humid air. Anthony leaned in further, pushing his lips hard against Ian’s. Ian kissed back, moving his lips with Anthony’s slowly. He felt a warm hand run down his already overheating chest and shuddered despite the heat. He feared Anthony would hear his racing heart, thudding loudly in his chest.
Anthony ran his hand down Ian’s stomach before running it back up his torso, stopping at his chest and gently pushing Ian down, keeping their mouths connected. Ian pushed his elbows into the powder-soft sand as he leaned back, stopping in a half-laying position. Anthony crawled on top of him with ease, legs straddling his hips, hot stomach pressed against his own, sticky with light sweat. Anthony put his hands down on either side of Ian’s torso before deepening the kiss, brushing his tongue against Ian’s lower lip. Ian parted his lips slightly, and Anthony quickly shoved his tongue into Ian’s mouth, forcing it further open. A strangled moan escaped Ian’s throat before he could stop it, and he swore he felt Anthony smirk against his lips. Anthony’s tongue moved across his mouth, and Ian attempted to fight for dominance in the kiss, pushing back with his own tongue. For a moment, he kept Anthony out of his mouth, giving up when his tongue found its way back in.
Anthony pushed his tongue down into Ian’s throat, pulling another weak moan from the shorter boy, who ran a hand slowly down Anthony’s side. A shiver ran down his spine, the nervous knot returning to his stomach. He forced his thoughts away from his worries, focusing on the kiss. He attempted to keep up with Anthony, sucking on his tongue as it worked slowly around the back of his mouth. He heard a quiet groan from his boyfriend and shuddered once again, sweat forming on the nape of his neck.
Anthony pulled his tongue back into his own mouth, slowly pulling away from the heated kiss. Ian all but gasped for air, mouth gaping, pulling air inward in short pants. Anthony breathed heavily, looking down at Ian through half-lidded eyes. Ian swore he could die perfectly content in this moment, looking up breathlessly at Anthony’s wet, kiss-swollen lips, blush-tinted cheeks, adorably messy, wavy hair, and brilliant eyes. He could die happy right then, but of course, he didn’t really want to. After all, the night had only begun.
“Wanna go for a swim?” Anthony mumbled, his expression hard to read in the now-dusky atmosphere. Ian swallowed the forming lump in his throat and nodded.
“Sure,” he mumbled back, watching Anthony pull himself off the ground, reaching down to help Ian up. The dark-haired boy led Ian into the water up to their knees. The water, crystal clear during the day but now as black as the approaching night, was almost perfectly still around them. It wasn’t cold, but instead lukewarm, hardly a relief from the hot, stuffy air still bringing sweat to Ian’s neck and brow.
Ian looked up at his boyfriend, who stood looking out at the darkened horizon. He wondered if, maybe, Anthony was nervous, too. He couldn’t read the expression on the taller boy’s face in the dark air. He thought for a moment before acting suddenly, crouching down and pouncing on Anthony, pulling the both of them down into the water.
Anthony yelped, arms flying up as Ian wrapped his arms around his center. They plunged into the warm water, submerging fully and drifting deeper, resurfacing at stomach-deep water. Ian ran his fingers through his hair as he resurfaced, laughing at Anthony’s expression. His boyfriend splashed his face, giggling himself.
“What the fuck, douche?” He exclaimed with a laugh, throwing his arms up to shield himself as Ian splashed his own wave of water toward him. Anthony shook his hair out mid-laugh and swiped his wet bangs across his forehead, attempting to fix them. Ian shook his head, his laughter dying down. Anthony went quiet, too, after a moment. Ian looked up at the dark haired boy, not farther than a foot away from him, trying to see his face in the darkening night. A few moments passed before he realized he was staring. He blinked and smiled sheepishly up at Anthony, thinking for a moment before deciding to push up on his tipped-toes and lean in to kiss him.
