The details. My husband and daughter are with me now, and it's just...different. Not in a bad way, but not what I would have pictured when I was younger.

Well, yeah. I don't think most folks have their childhood dreams pan out exactly as pictured. I'm of the camp that says that's not a bad thing, though. It just happens like that.

[Jim looks over from the kitchen where he's attempting to make dinner. It's... not going so great. He holds up the knife he's kind of slicing tomatoes with.]

You could cut off your ear like that one guy.

[Look how classy and sophisticated he is, forgetting names of legit famous painters as he mimes cutting off his ear with the tomato knife.]

That one guy? Way to be specific, Halpert.

[ pam abandons both her comm and her seat by the window to go over and wraps her arms around his waist, tucking herself right under his arm. ]

What are you doing to the tomatoes?

[Jim wraps an arm around her as he sets the knife down on the cutting board. The tomatoes are kind of just squished everywhere and the skin somewhat scraped off.]

I was trying to tell them to cooperate and it'd be easier and I guess they just didn't.

[AKA he completely, completely failed at slicing them.]

You didn't want to eat those, did you?
