Anyone know of a job around here that doesn't involve the words customer service? It's not really my specialty.

I specialize in acquisitions. [She figures that's vague enough to not be too incriminating if this guy turns out to be a cop or something.] And staying off the radar is all well and good, but I'm not even on the map in this place.

Detective work, huh? That doesn't sound like a bad deal. I kind-of did something like that back home, though I was more on the...hunting and gathering side of things.

What's the pay? Fixed, or a cut of the haul?

I sort of started the same way.

Even cut of the fee paid by the client. Client is also expected to cover medical expenses, but if for some reason they don't, I'd cover that to whatever I could afford. Not that it usually gets that dangerous, but poking around other people's stuff always carries a risk factor.

Sounds fair. What kind of clientele are you aiming for?

[Because the last thing she wants to do is get stuck snooping around in someone's underwear drawer trying to find evidence of an affair.]
