It's certainly a sword, not a knife, from the depth of the cuts. Yet, I hesitate to say what kind specifically. It doesn't look like a straight blade like mine...oddly, it puts me in mind of the kind of cut a Karayan sword makes. [beat; right, Jack doesn't know who the Karayans are] ...a curved blade.
