I don't know what happened to this city, but I think it's better I wasn't here for whatever it was. Caused enough damage - if I didn't know better, I'd say Geth.

I've done some snooping on some of the other posts here, mainly from the newbies like me, so you don't have to go into the basic details. And, [small beeps, AKA omni-tool noises] since I can't connect to the extranet, I'm either out of the galaxy or I'm in the past.
Normally I'd say that was impossible, but from the things I've seen and heard happening over this feed, I don't doubt anything. The fact that I haven't seen any species other than human isn't helping, and the tech has to be a century or two behind what I'm used to.
So, I'm just going to come out and ask: what planet am I on, and what year is it? Because I'm really starting to get this feeling that it isn't anywhere near 2183.

...And Shepard, if you're out there, we really need to find better places to vacation.
