adventure baby
well taking that f.e. exam was interesting. the morning session went pretty well, i feel comfortable with it. although, by the end, my eyes were having a hard time focusing on those stupid white pages. luckily we got an hour lunch break out in the gorgeous weather. the afternoon session was nowhere near as good. i ended up completely guessing (c) on about 7 out of the 60 questions. that's probably not too bad, but i'm not very confidant with the other 53 question either.
oh well. i'm just so thankful that it is over. i guess no one from u of m has failed it, though i think this might just be a myth... but that probably means that very few fail right? please?
the people that were running it were crazy! they were all senior citizens, but the mean kind. and they checked my i.d. and calculator way more than necessary. seriously, i was in the middle of the exam when one of the proctors comes right up behind me, leans over and stares at my i.d. for a minute. did he think i could teleport someone in the room to take the test for me?? eh, i guess i can't blame them. i'd be looking for something to do if i had to stand for 8 hours watching test-takers. of course, i don't think i would stand over people's shoulders. i think i would probably just look at each person and decide what there name should be. or maybe play matchmaker in my head. or maybe just cough a lot to be annoying (oh wait, someone already played that role).
anyways, my plan was to drive back to aa after the exam, but my mind was so fried, and my mom had fried food at home for dinner... so i figured i would just stay home. no crazy partying... but i did finally get to spend some time with jamie face. it was lots o' fun. we listened to perhaps the greatest 80's song ever.
wow, if you get a chance, you should look at the new prints jamie just finished. they are really amazing... now if only he could figure out how to not procrastinate. ah well, i guess opposites attract? (paula abdul anyone?)
still have 2 exams this week, but i'm not fretting too much. everything seems trivial compared to that monster i took saturday.
