within this past week, i worked 85 hours. and i woke up on my one day off at 7am. ballzzz.

i can't remember the last time i've been so upset and so tired. i need a break from everything, but it's not gonna happen.

i had my first performance evaluation this week. my boss thinks i am a "rising star" at the company and also told the CFO. nice. we developed a career path, and hopefully i'll move up two positions by 2010 to be an assistant project manager. he wants me to take some classes to keep my education going. when i can start working normal person hours, i ( Read more... )

today i completed training for "confined space entry." it was mostly very dull, but i did get to wear a harness, climb into a fake manhole and then pretend to slip and fall so that the harness had to catch me. it was pretty fun/scary, but i my hardhat fell off which was rather disconcerting ( Read more... )
