Info gathering time!
Okay, this is a post with two purposes:
First, and most importantly, I would like to know who here could potentially tell that Shuro is actually a girl, just so I can be prepared for that before it comes up. Note that Shuro was raised as a boy (as in, she herself didn't realize she wasn't one for about the first eight years of her life), so I assume she'd be less likely to have "tells" in the form of... any learned female behavior, body language or whatever. Also, she can alter her voice, so she apparently sounds pretty manly most of the time. She's still totally physically female, though, so. There's that. (She does look very girly, but so do a lot of male Japanese singers.)
Second -- well, this might not work out at all, because it's harder to integrate Ceres into other canons than it is with something like Gravitation which ostensibly takes place in the "real world." But I think it could be interesting so... if there's anyone from a canon set in Japan in the 90's who might recognize Shuro as a pop star, let me know that too.
