... and missed. I was up all night preparing for the Wicked Faire. Worked on the clockwork heart and burned out a whole bunch of LED's testing the heart box. I, uh, forgot the resisters for the initial LED test. However, once I get help hanging the boxes off the harness, I'll be able to finish wiring them up. But everything works! Even the LED's! There's one thing off today's list. I found I site that sells prop shaft adapters. Methinks I need to hit up a hobby shop today, one that does R/C planes.

Goals for the weekend:

• Come up with a mad scientist name for a steampunk persona.
• Alfred's:
  • 1/2" wide leather strap with matching buckles.
  • holes in suspenders (some kind of riveted solution) and related hanging accoutrements.
• Buy more paint brushes.

Two weeks from Friday is the Wicked Faire. The clockwork heart needs:

• holds and varnish on the inside panels
• holes and spacers for the front box clockworks
• wiring job
• a tiny bit of software work

I haven't even started the cotton candy hat. However, I do have one specimen jar. Maybe I'll make a few more. I think I have a case I could carry them in ( Read more... )
