Christmas music
I've been listening to Sky Radio lately and they are bombarding us with the same old christmas music they play every year. Every day it's the same.
I don't hate it but after listening to the songs play over and over and over... they kinda grow old really quickly even when you haven't heard them in over a year. *grunt*
Anyway. I am curious... What's YOUR favorite and your most hated christmas song?
My favorite is "Oh Holy Night" I also love this Ray Conniff christmas album ("We wish you a merry christmas", I think it's called). Reminds me of my childhood, putting the christmas tree with my parents back in mexico... just the intro of "Jolly Old SAint Nicholas" can bring me to nostalgic tears.
My least favorite... I think "Stop the Cavalry" though it is not a christmas song per se, but they only play it around this time of year. And "rocking around the christmas tree", though it's only this particular version they are playing on SkyRadio lately all the time that annoys me bigtime. Anyone knows who sings it? (Sounds like a whole bunch of dorks and some woman going "this is sooo corny" thinking she's being really funny *rolleyes* And then you think they are done bawling and then they go: Let's do it again! and start the chorus all over... *shootmepls*)
