Weekend is over
I had a very relaxed week off work all together, I didn't do much heheh, so there's not much to tell from the past few days.
Today we had a birthday to go to, the GF of one of Jeroen's bros had her b-day a few weeks ago but she could not celebrate it until today. She invited us over for a high tea, so we had lots of yummies to snack on :)
For dinner we ordered spareribs from De Piramide, best spare ribs out there!! Now I will have to work extra hard at fitness next week to compensate for the big meal ;)
Speaking of fitness, Jeroen has been trying this running pattern, in the beginning he could not run for more than a minute, and now he's been doing 20-min runs without stopping, so it seems the program works so I will try it myself too and see how far I can go. That means I really should go get me some good running shoes! I saw some at the store last weekend but it was so crowded and it was impossible to find an employee to help me, there was no room to sit down and try on the shoe comfortably and all, so I told Jeroen "screw this" and I will go sometime during the week when there's less people around.
Lesseee... what else have I been up to.... I've been checking out Youtube a lot, and I mean A LOT lol, it's very addicting :) I've also been playing Guitar Hero. I managed to beat it in the Medium level finally, all songs with 5-star reviews whoohoo (so I unlocked the cheesy pirate guitar) and now I am slowly making my way through "HARD", which, as the name implies, is tough as hell LOL, but I used to think the same about "EASY", so I know I will get there eventually. I dunno how I did it but I already managed to score a 5-star review with "Hit me with your best shot" in hard, LOL, a very lucky shot, the rest of my songs have lame 3-star reviews, so I still need to practice a lot :D S'really a fun game, and we heard that the next GH game will also include a set of drums, a bit like Rock Band, so that's gonna be fun! (and the neighbors are so going to kick us out hahahah)
So... I think that's about it... I'm not really very excited about going back to work tomorrow again LOL, but I worked over time last week so I can leave three hours earlier, perhaps on wednesday to have an early start of the weekend. (Did I mention I love my new working schedule like WHOA? :D :D :D )
