Tänään on eka päivä mun neljän viikon lomasta. Palaan töihin vasta elokuun 11. päivä, eli päivänä jota odotan kuumeisesti koska Meat Loaf esiintyy silloin Helsingissä. I just did a friend a favor - she needed to take pics of a gig she's writing about, so I went to Tavastia to loan her my camera. Today is mine and Mike's 2 year anniversary. I had forgotten all about it, but then Mike called me at work and wished me a happy anniversary. Today is the winter solstice, i.e. the shortest day of the year. In Helsinki, the sun was up for 5 hours, 49 minutes. It rose today at 9.24 and set at 15.13. I left work today at 3 to watch the sunset. Right outside our office is a nice place to watch. I took some photos with my cell phone camera.

I got back from L.A. two days ago, and I'm still feeling a bit disoriented. The trip was great, and when it was time to go home, I felt I would have wanted to stay longer. Fortunately I had time to do most of the things I wanted, so all in all I'm pretty satisfied with everything ( Read more... )

It's my boyfriend's 33rd birthday today. I got him two Deep Purple CDs, Fireball and Deep Purple in Rock anniversary editions.
