Jirobou [OUT]: I can tell that you're apping someone who probably won't be too horribly much in the crack department, so I'm not going to go "NO HUMOR GO DIE D<", but the app was still a little lacking, and the punchline was a little too random for my tastes. I'd say instead of trying to make us laugh with an off-the-wall punchline, try to flesh out his voice a little better! If he's not a piss-your-pants funny character, then try to win us over on voice rather than funny.

Yuffie [OUT]: As an emetophobic with a penchant for vomit-takes (YEAH TRY TO FIGURE THAT ONE OUT EVERYONE), I'm not sure if I should be saying "GO GO MOTION SICKNESS" or "oh god DDDD:". In either case, I thought it was kind of excessive and I think you can play on her motion sickness in ways that don't involve major gross-outs. And... thus, I didn't make it through the app.

My recommendation would be to start by rewriting the app to a narrative format or something like Kotarou's app, which is mostly the character doing stuff in an orderly fashion, punctuated only occasionally by reacting to things around the character in order to set the app off to a new round of jokes. IMHO, that sort of style gives apps more structure, makes them smoother and easier to follow, and strengthens them generally -- which I know sounds like a shampoo commerical, but that's what I think the easiest way to app is.

The best advice I can really think of is coming up with a couple of really strong jokes and focusing on and building up to them; unfortunately, advice on content itself has never been my strong suit, so. Um. Yeah.
