[so if you were to go into the mess hall today you would notice some obnoxious teenager has claimed a table and is working on it with his laptop and quite a few empty mugs.  The more observant would notice the following: a) the apple on his macbook is missing the standard bite in it; b) instead of the usual standard 100 or so keys on his keyboard

Would you believe "camp gave it to me"? I had to clean six gigabytes of malware off it first though.

Still, it's a better model than what we get stuck with. Maybe I should redesign mine.

I would. Waiting on camp to give you something is doomed to failure. This took me two years to get right, but there might be shortcuts now. I've got a lot of apps now that I didn't have a few years ago.

Dell laptop, Windows 7. I don't really use it much.

Normally, I'd use Linux but it's good to branch out.

Linux has its advantages. It just doesn't interface with my wizardry the way I'd like.

My theory is that someone in Apple is a little more connected to the Powers than they let on.
