The director believed her fiance to be killed by one of the campers that arrived here after his death. Since then, the periodic influx of campers, then counselors, have all been suspected of the murder and have been held here against their will. Aside from that logic, Stephan, her fiance, is not actually dead and has been seen around camp numerous times.

As for the camp, it is a sentient being with a will of its own, capable of almost anything. Though, that may not be the case anymore. . .
