Heather will touch Kabuto who she's talking to him, but with anyone else she'll usually keep a lot of distance between herself and them. Less, the friendlier she is to people. Everyone in SH3 does a lot of moving and gesticulating when they're talking, and Heather's no exception to that, so, yeah, if you're talking to her she probably making gestures a lot and sometimes making faces too. And she pretty much gives you her undivided attention.

Molly makes faces too, and does so much more often. And she's bouncy, and active, and can be easily distracted if you're not one of the people who're really special to her but she'll try to keep paying attention to you because it wouldn't be very nice not to.

Pratty mostly just stands there while talking to people because he field sprite has limited animations and her character portrait only changes its expressions, not its posture and when people are talking to her she'll often stop giving them her full attention and let her mind drift back to thinking about things they've already said, or about what she thinks of them, or about things that what they're saying remind her of.

Oh, and icons usually don't have any reflection on anything other than their facial expressions.
