Saw the Watchmen flick earlier today... extreme violence, strong sexual content, and pervasive use of Leonard Cohen . Not a terrible movie. Though Leonard Cohen creeps me out. :p

Putting together the list of things I don't want to forget to bring for my trip.

The ride down was hell. When we weren't driving through pea soup fog it was drizzle. Finally in the city, and it's like... 55F. THIS IS NOT NATURAL. lol

Anyway, I'm home in one piece and all's well. :)

Things aren't looking so great for travelling back to Chicago, but as we all know, things can change.

While a bunch of people look at how wonderful/horrible next week will be, I look ahead to the next month. Final week in March, my spring break, which will be spent in Chicago. :) In other words, instead of glooming over the fact that I don't have anyone to spend a stupid Thursday with, at least right now, I'm REALLY happy to have something purely ( Read more... )

I've actually had a good time down here, but I really can't wait to get back to WI.

Tomorrow, I take off with my dad and a friend of his. Yeay!

I'm gonna have to miss the QotSA show tonight. Stuck in Chicago till maybe Friday.

This morning, though, I got to go out to breakfast with my great-aunt Elly and cousin Maureen, which was really nice. :)

I miss my online friends... whenever I get on my laptop the damn thing overheats. :p
