Lotsa news.
So! This trip to Chicago. It was very nice. I got to see my friend, eat everything I really shouldn't but miss dearly up in Hayward, and spoke with a lot of people I hadn't seen in ages.
I'm starting to realize that I have many more friends there than I do here. The goal is becoming clearer every day: get degree, get healthy, get outta dodge and back home. I still feel a bit displaced, like home is just some kinda state of mind and a bad idea someone put on a Hallmark card, but at least my footing's stronger.
Back to the grind at school. I tapped a maple tree yesterday for sap, not a clue how it's going, suppose I should check, even though it's snowing out. :p Math's still a bitch, probably always will be.
Saw my GI doc yesterday. Nothing earth-shattering. I'm gonna start taking one OTC immodium a day and see what happens.
I found out that the Help Desk internship is back for this summer, and dammit, I'm gonna apply. :) By then I should be driving.
