The next chapter in my Star Wars fanfic, "The Definition of Duty", is up.

Now time to get ready and go to work.

For the first time, I've made it into the final round of a LIMS (Last Icon Maker Standing) contest over at bsg_lims .  Ack, the pressure of trying to make something new and pretty in a 100x100 pixel box.

And now to celebrate Cinco de Mayo, it's time for margaritas and NCIS. 

I went ahead and started posting my Nano story.  No, it's not finished.  And no, it hasn't been fully reworked, but if I don't have the pressure of knowing I need to update, I'm not sure it ever will be.

And now I'm going to spend the next couple of hours driving home so I'm not constantly checking to see if I have any replies.

If this were the first chapter or prologue of a story, would you want to read what came next?

How on earth did I win Nano?  I can't bring myself to finish the Mara Quote challenge (even with your lovely encouragement), I don't even want to look at my Nano story let alone fix it, and I can't even manage to write the five drabbles for this week's themes.  How did I write 55k words in one month?
