It's Friday, and I don't want to jump into the actual studying thing quite yet, so a quick meme while I waste a bit of time.
From
anandangel 1. Name someone with the same birthday as you. Becca. Or my friend Anna's dad.
2. Where was your first kiss? Standing in the driveway in front of my house.
3. Have you ever seriously vandalised someone else's property? No, I don't think even not seriously.
4. Have you ever hit someone of the opposite sex? My brother. And Anna's brothers, who are practically my brothers. Oh, and Tommy.
5. Have you ever sung in front of a large number of people? I mean, no stadiums or anything, but I've sung solos in concerts.
6. What's the first thing you notice about the preferred sex? Saying "their face" is sort of cliche but largely true. Eyes are nice...like, in Puerto Rico, all the guys had these big beautiful dark eyes with long lashes...v. pretty.
7. What really turns you on? Challenging intellectual conversation. Talk nerdy to me, baby. :-) Also, kissing my neck.
8. What do you order at Starbucks? Depends on the weather. If it's hot, a tall caramel frappuchino. If it's cold, a tall Chai Latte. And, if I'm hungry, a chocolate chip scone.
9. What is your biggest mistake? In general, being too afraid of commitment to actually pursue guys I'm interested in. Specifically...I have no idea.
10. Have you ever hurt yourself on purpose? Not seriously.
11. Say something totally random about yourself. The nail polish I'm currently wearing is a color that I got from Ashleigh, my suitemate at Governor's School. It's the color I've worn almost always since then.
12. Has anyone ever said you looked like a celebrity? Back a VERY long time ago, when I had short hair, I was told I looked like Posh Spice. And someone told me recently that I look like Katie Holmes.
13. Do you still watch kiddy movies or tv shows? Movies all the time...and TV shows if you count anime.
14. Did you have braces? Nope. :-)
15. Are you comfortable with your height? Quite.
16. What is the most romantic thing someone of the opposite sex has done for you? Sending me love letters on a Senator's letterhead and abusing franking privilige to get free postage. That or taking me on a date to a Jeopardy taping. I really don't go in for the flowers/candy/teddy bears thing. Because writing me poetry...will just make me laugh at you.
17. When do you know it's love? While I have some theories, I don't actually know. I've never really been in love.
18. Do you speak any other languages? I could speak Spanish if I wasn't so afriad of saying something wrong and looking stupid. I can read and understand it, anyway. And I know a few phrases in Latin, French, Japanese, and now Arabic, but certainly not enough to carry on a conversation.
19. Have you ever been to a tanning salon? No, I have lots of things to die of aside from skin cancer.
20. What magazines do you read? People, Time, or Newsweek are my favorites...I'll read Cosmo, YM, or Seventeen, too.
21. Have you ever ridden in a limo? Yes, in New Orleans last winter when, due to some strange fluke, the limo cost less than the taxi.
22. Has anyone you were really close to passed away? My grandfather, and some older relatives, but no one nearer my own age.
23. Do you watch MTV? No, never have, and I doubt I ever will.
24. What's something that really annoys you? Psycho people handing out anti-choice flyers on the lawn?
25. What's something you really like? Rainbow sprinkles. Buffy. Mushy Remus/Sirius fic. Fall weather, and the way dead leaves smell.
26. Do you like Michael Jackson? No.
27. Can you dance? I used to take ballet.... I can sort of dance, but not really particularly well.
28. What's the latest you have ever stayed up? The lastest I've ever stayed up is not going to bed at all...aside from that, maybe 6 or 7?
29. Have you ever said "I love you" without meaning it? No, and sometimes I wonder if I should have.
30. Have you ever been rushed by an ambulance into the emergency room? No.
31. Do you actually read these when other people fill them out? SMostly I do...unless I'm really busy or whatever.
Ok, that was fun. Now off to read the Troy book and then do some real homework.
