mini-update
Yeah...this is going to be just a little mini update from the music library before rehearsal, and really just because I feel like I should update a little bit since I haven't in a while. Because, erm, I've been watching Buffy. More or less whenever I haven't been sleeping or in class. But shutting up about that.
beautiful_rain_ and I tried to give blood between classes. Sadly, even though we had almost two hours, the wait was even longer than that. Kind of sad, actually...not that they have so many people, but that they have to lose more people because they already have so many. But we're going to try again tomorrow, when we don't have afternoon classes.
Arabic is fun...I can't remember the last time I was in a room full of people where I could mess up, even spectacularly, and not feel bad about myself or have to worry about people making fun of me. We all have this nice little community of making idiots of ourselves. I realized this after I managed a spectacular crash and burn attempting to write dictation phonetically instead of using the grammar rules we'd been learning, and was able to just laugh it off.
And as for orchestra...concert week. I'm tired already, and I still have two and a half hours of rehearsal to go. But the music is awesome, and I feel good when I'm playing, so...let's hope I don't get too zoned out.
