The Night Before I Turn 26
So tomorrow is my birthday. I'm having a BBQ at my house with people from work and friends from school. I've talked to a lot of people, but I have no idea how many people are coming. I have 25lbs of filet mignon, potato salad, salad, rolls, pie, stuff to make cupcakes and I even got Ali to give me his Salsa Recipe to put some of my garden to use ( Read more... ) -

So I have to sign loan stuff tomorrow after work. Go walk through the house after that. Sign final title papers friday. get the keys monday. I'm excited! but what the hell am I doing? why am I buying a house again?

I close on my house next friday at 4. though I may not take possesion for a few more days after that to allow the family time to move out. The mom has been home alone with the 2 kids (1 of which is under 2) so hasn'thad much time to get stuff together ( Read more... ) -

oh totally forgot to update about the house. made an offer, got a counter offer, accepted it. have had said house inspected, appraised and hammered out most of the details onthe loan. as soon as the current owners slap a step and a rail on the deck and we sign some final paperwork its mine all mine. set date is the 17th but could be as early as ( Read more... ) -

So I jsut reread a series that I read as a teen (yes its trashy romance) that takes place in a society where warriors rule and their women must obey unthinkingly for their own safety or be punished.
