wake up and go to breakfast. i was so glad i had a room mate cause other wise i would have had no one to cling on to all weekend. i can't be outgoing unless i have someone there i know likes me and i can go up to and talk to without feeling weird.
we have another small group and talk about our strengths. we took a test before we came and i have 5 strengths on my name tag. we talk about how they are what we are best at and can improve them and use our knowledge of them to adjust our study habits and things to be more efficient. we then draw a picture to represent ours. mine was pretty cool. my strengths are WOO(winning others over) communication adaptability includer and positivity. i think i posted their explanations in a previous post. around june 16 or so...lol
then we have a large group discussion about friendship. and how there are three kinds. utility(study partner) pleasure(have fun together) and total(true friends). then we broke into our small groups and talked about how many true friends we have. i think i have 3. four if i count sydney.
then lunch and a nap.
then we took a small tour of the campus and got into charter busses. we drove for two hours to independence texas when baylor was originally founded. what was cool is that baylor got its charter from texas when it was still a country. bad ass right?
well then we had this ritual where we got our line jerseys and walked through this arch way. i kinda joined a cult. but its all good. no kool aid was served. then we drove 2 hours back to campus and has milk and cookies...it was so hard core. hahaa
