Day 3
breakfast then a large group about service and this guy told us about the service proj we were going to do. we were going to a poor part of waco and going to play with kids in the playground. we had to go door to door and ask if any kids wanted to come play. it was an interesting experience.
then lunch and a nap. then a frustrating and somewhat SING practice.
dinner and "bearing the elements"
which was like outdoor games. sack race. egg toss. tug a war. then a giant slip and slide and a long run across campus to the fountain.
we then got cleaned up and went to coffee house. which was at the local coffee place and there was live music it was pretty fun. then we were chillin in Jess and Marissa's room. when we went to the main room and found out people were chillin in the basement.
they were playing never have i ever down there so i joined in and ended up going to bed at like 3 in the morning. as i was walking to my dorm i realized no one cared when i came home and there would be no negative consequences for coming in that late. besides getting less sleep. it was incredibly freeing.
