First Day of Line Camp
i get up and finish packing for line camp. then chat with doyle for a bit and im on my way.
it takes about 3 hours to get there and its almost a straight shot on I-6. so the normal speed limit is 70. but every once and a while you will go through a small town and the speed limit will drop to like 55 or 45 for like a mile. well in the last town i went through i didnt see the speed change and i got a speeding ticket for going 29 miles over the speed limit. 74 in a 45. GOD DAMMIT!!
so i get to baylor 10 min later and sign in and turn over my phone and car keys. i go to my room and meet my roommate. she seems pretty cool. her name is racheal. we go to meet people and get herded to the first activity. which is like meet people bingo. we play other games and then break into our small groups. our leader is Nick and he seems cool right away. so we do a name learning game and talk a bit then go to dinner. next we learn about our line jersey's and leave the stadium. but not before nick gets lost and has us run up and down two flights of stairs like 3 times. it was funny later....
then the dodgeball tournament, the team i was assigned to won! woohoo!! and then we learned about SING where we have to do a dance to these four songs they spliced together for our sing group. which was nick's small group and megan's small group put together.
then we slept.
