This past weekend I was in Boston for the Extreme Beer Fest.  I wouldn't call myself a major beer drinker -- I only really like the unusual and exotic things.  You will never see me drinking a Bud.  Anyway, I tried things like S'more stout, a peanut butter and jelly stout, a chocolate raspberry confection, etc.  It wasn't all fruity chocolatey ( Read more... )

I'm in love with my new camera.

This evening, Ben and Lori Ann and I went to the Hernando County Fair.  We ate funnel cake, observed high spinning rides from afar that we did not want to ride, played a throw-the-ring-at-the-milk-bottle game (and failed miserably), and saw lots of cows, pigs, chickens, and rabbits.  Here's me with my new friend, ( Read more... )
