I got a 2nd job and it's awesome!
So I have a second job!! Yeah, happened really quick last week! Had my 1st day w/a lady trainer ( she had to bring her kids, so was nice that the MMA gym is family run & that she was able to do that vs having to Call Off)...the work is SUPER easy, some of it is physical ( feels like a workout) but I think I can do everything my own way ( sanitize certain things that some of the trainers aren't always doing ( the kettlebells, weights, etc) or vacuum/sweep an area AND then mop vs them saying just do the mopping....
Right now I am having my SECOND hour long on the clock break today on my 2nd day w/a new trainer....need to bring more snacks too cuz if this is how Monday will be..love that I can bring my bike inside too! Don't have to lock it up so that will save my back from another day of the lock in my backpack...
I had to Call Off yesterday at my shift at the pizza place ( had a horrible migraine, scratchy throat and runny nose due to my new carpet powder the night before, didn't even feel better til after 4 PM yesterday after a 2nd nap, Extra Strength headache pills, vacuuming 3x w/mask on and had the fan on for both sides of the living room area!)....I only missed one shift in almost 3 months, that's like nothing...my shift at the gym for Tues got changed from 1-5 to 6 PM-10PM so I made a note in my phone to go to bed by 11 since I work for pizza place at 10 AM Wed...getting my 5th free pizza after work too! Doing just 2x the beef, regular pep/sausage but DOUBLE the cheese...
Finishing my New Yorker pizza tonight....ordered it yesterday...had soup for dinner tho ..had my sister come over for a bit as I watched her kids for a couple hrs last week..
8:38 PM: kinda was put off by the fact that the Front Desk girl has to wait for me to get the bike out from the desk area, so I think I will go back to just walking to both workplaces ( at least w/the 2nd, they are totally cool w/my getting ready there!)...
