So I was extra pissed last week when I came upon the laundry room at 8 AM and saw both the washer and dryer had laundry still there from the day before ( no laundry past 5 PM, right?( & saw two different laundry baskets...last week, my landlady let one of the new white nurses use our stuff and it took me all 4 days of taking stuff out there, seeing it used, trying again later 2x/day for the 4 days...the halfway people from my first year to last year, she didn't even want them walking on her damn grass, let alone trying to use our washer/dryer.....
Normally I just leave the stuff cuz if I do it for them, then they have a 50% chance that their shit isn't rotting and no accountability then..but that day I wanted to go eat at KG so I just threw things in the hamper and dryer, did my load, walked to KG ( thought of biking but too mad, walking helps), ate my sweetbread French Toast and had it covered by the waitress! Couldn't believe it when she said she's got the check, I don't have to pay ($12!) and Merry Christmas! I am going to start carrying at least $5-$10 in cash on me since she didn't bring over the electronic check thing so I couldn't even leave a tip..
Man, work has been CRAZY BUSY ( got Called IN last Wed too, had a 'shoulder' moment on Saturday as I was wiping down a rack 40 mins after doing 3 racks of pressouts, could feel it start to seize, span across from shoulder to neck, stretched it out tho)! Sunday was NUTS! It takes usually an hour and a half to fill the warmer w/ppl also taking orders but that day, it took over 4 hours! I got it 60% full when we were back to getting Extra Slammed, went on my 10, came back to see all 3 slots EMPTY! Monday's 8 AM shift was new and had the damn Civil Defense sirens going off at 4 AM due to a 'malfunction' the State said...made breads ALL day vs tinkering a bit in wings or Sauce Cups, etc...Wed shift I saw that my Sunday and Monday shift for next week AND the week after have now been TAKEN OFF/CUT and wouldn't you know, had exactly a trimmed down shift roster back to 7 down from 10 the last few shifts...had 2 newbies start this week tho, haven't seen the chick from last week and I bought some frozen Angus burgers & plan on having them w/the Craft beer fries on Sunday during one of the Playoff games!
I am hoping to do some yoga, a NTC workout, 1-2 of the Start Today group workouts as well as get in a few bike rides during all my new days off as well as hoping the temp agency has leads for me as I got back on the Check Ins....sis came over last night for a bit to get the chili oil for my other sister and we chatted for like a half hour about the craziness of my work/work atmosphere/owner crap...
Hope to get either a Cruiser w/a rack ( Baypointe looks good! Think it's the bike I saw some dude riding past me ( remember the nice slick black bike, cruiser handlebars and black rack) as I came home w/my Southern breaded shrimp, won ton soups, strombolli, breakfast bowls and Rayburn's microwaveable sandwiches) or a cool 3 speed Parkside bike off of eBay if they come down from the $100 S&H ( bike DOES have some rust, ppl)! & if I can get my suspended acct shit fixed due to missing a password attempt or some shit a few days ago as I tried to ask the seller if they charge EXTRA for HI shipping or does the $100 cover all 50 States)...
Am starting to get my sleeping issues resolved....one thing that has helped is the 2nd beam of lights from the building next door has NOT been on lately and I am NOT sinking into the bed like I was before so no need for my pillows/lack of head pillow to now sleeping finally with NO pillow just a few days ago...
Since I ate out for free last week, my new monthly trip is going to be to the restaurant up the road 2 streets up vs going to 'expensive' Ken's and trying a hopefully regular cheeseburger and fries vs the typical 'local style' burger...also getting some drinks from 7-11...
Edit: 1/13/2023 2 PM: didn't go out to eat. Decided to save my Govt funds & use it on necessities like TP and my new work pants, etc....did do an errand of getting some sodas, sandwich cheese for burgers ( today, used a new burger seasoning I picked up today, called The Usual by Fire Smoke Society, need to do 3-4 sprinkles next time to really taste it ), & some Naked drinks..forgot the TP ( did look at the Cranbrook but no Baypointe in stock, sucks that a lot of bikes here DON'T go on Clearance, but rather just sell out and have to wait & see if get restocked)...the Cranbrook tires did look a little dirty, so might have been 'returns' too which should be Clearance items then!
Watching a few 10 minute Vinyasa NTC yogas ( took off the 10 minute and the 20 minute workouts)....might do 1-2 today as I am using this week as a rest/recharge...next week i will try to do a ride or two, go to the beach, etc...
