Just finished my 6th day (2nd paycheck) at the gym

The gym stuff does seem really easy and well structured...but some stuff does suck ( ie person working the shift before you is supposed to get stuff READY for you ( ie clean towels/rags, new mop bucket water w/sanitizer, new shower rugs, etc) but today, I had to dump out the dirty water still left in 1 of the 2 mop buckets, could only sanitize 8 machines upstairs due to their being no new clean rags ( & only had 2 rags vs like 20) and could only find 1 mop vs the 8 I saw the other day...later did a load of towels and rags too but then that led to us having to switch things up til the stuff was dry..

I wanted to be the one to do the Bag Room floor since my trainer did the Mat Room. The thing that's hard about working as others work out is a lot of them don't care that you put the sign up that says you are cleaning, they come in anyways and you find them working out as you come back from getting the supplies...I waited an hour, saw the guy over by the Kettlebells, hoped no one else got in there, scored! But 2 women wanted to do some planks in a small section of the floor area, so I said sure and just mopped slowly & they were able to do their timed routine of 3-4 types. I later heard them say they were happy I said yes to them working out as they were leaving and said thanks again, etc...

Today we were supposed to get a bunch of rain and thunder so I just shot up to my pizza place for my free pizza ( last night, we were too slammed so I opted for today, + kinda mad over comment one of the Managers made saying how they had 4 Call Outs last Saturday NIGHT and I was the only Call Out for the DAY shift, like hope you're not lumping me in with those f#$@ers who miss work OFTEN), got my sausage, pep, 2x the beef and 3x the cheese pizza, came home, ate 3 slices, had my nap, watched some eps of the new show Accused and then went on to work at the gym...

I might have scored a deal on a new used bike here! A guy is selling his Specialized ( yeah, sorry, bro in Cali who got 1 from FB for $50, mine is $200, but it has a rack, a nice seat and the swept back handlebars too!)....I have been in talks w/him and maybe we can set something up during my GYM days....I don't work that much for them next week tho ( Sunday is a FULL day so bringing a sandwich, trail mix, a soda and my Smoothie drink that day, then work Tues Mid Shift and Thursday Closing), so maybe could try for a next Friday or next Sunday meeting...

Going to try to get in my first KB workout at the gym tomorrow before work there in the afternoon as I pick up my first check from them at the temp place and also trying a few of NTC's 10 min vinyasa yogas w/the guy I like Branden Collinsworth AND the Root to Rise 30 minute one too some days this week/next week...

Trying this place out when I get my first FULL paycheck from the gym ( aka this week for NEXT week)..

I caved and decided it's time to buy new walking shoes/workout shoes/shoes for the gym job...luckily Walmart had this Avia on sale for less than $18!
Busted pair, still keeping them as spares

Nice new shoes + Memory Foam too, but downside is I do have a bloody blister but only one of my feet...

Had my last day of the paycheck at the gym today hehe....it does seem to resemble the pizza place in the 'always working' mentality that the lady who interviewed me was mentioning to me today but both my trainers ( the guy and the girl trainer) have said once we do our stuff, we do an hour long break, then do a sweep of areas, swap out rags and bottles, do trash, put stuff in the washer at around a half hour left in the shift..even w/her wanting us to wipe down machines in both areas, that's fast and we can't clean the showers/areas after every person uses it, we have to let time pass cuz it will get dirty again....idk, I just don't want to get anxiety/nervous like I am not doing enough or sitting around and getting in 'trouble' ( haven't btw)...if we do stuff too fast ( which we can't, gym is a big place), then we definitely will be sitting around longer...also sucks that we have to do stuff the Front Desk ppl are supposed to be doing too ( wiping down the cardio machines, swapping out the cardio rags/bottles) I was told by the girl trainer, & they're supposed to bring the rags down to us, not us go up there so now there's even more shit they are NOT doing ( they literally sit there on their phones, say hi and bye to clients coming/going and that's it)...

working out, yoga, work stuff food, pizza for tonight, work stuff, new bike?
