Ok..
So I got my 3 packages finally! But had to pay fucking $131 for them! Yeah, never doing Media Mail again, way too restrictive, my $11/box went up to $44 cuz I had a few printed out recipes, a book cover, a small dreamcatcher, a book inside a small flat cardboard box, and my mini gaming console ( what led to the ' inspection', probably thought heaviness meant drugs, fuckers!)..I had 3 boxes w/little bits of 'restricted' items in each box so each box got increased..lots of books and dvds tho..
Going to call the Insurance ppl tomorrow and see what they decided ( or call the hospital and see if the bill is 'taken care of' or outstanding?)...
I applied to 4 jobs yesterday and today, all on Monster as well as looking at Indeed still...
I joined The Y ( along w/my sister) last week, so we were both sore still over the weekend as our 2 back to back strength training workouts was still really fresh hehe...hung out at the Pop Up as I had just come from saving $6 by going to Long's to get Hawaiian Suns vs Walmart ( used $3 in Extra Bucks $$ too!)...
My Mom might be moving out of our place in IL as she hasn't found work yet....she at least is getting my Aunt to leave by this weekend and she said she might 'host some refugees' to make some quick cash...
I did a 20 min workout today just on the elliptical and am very glad I feel better today ( last night went to bed before 7:30 due to migraine)...tomorrow is resting/watching Tubi/CourtTVMystery movies and shows, laundry maybe and hoping the cops DON'T come back here as my neighbor is not wanted by them hehe! Working out W and F and learned to watch CBS shows LIVE as they are not free on Hulu ( only if you do the Add On for Live TV ( despite show airing a week earlier? For $65! NOPE!), but I did enjoy watching and finishing Homeland..
I really like Ordinary Joe, NCIS Hawaii and love that Lauren and Leyla are still VERY MUCH TOGETHER on New Amsterdam ( love Helen/Max now too!)!!
I ordered Augason Farms 10 can of Buttermilk Pancakes as they were on sale for an unheard of $7 and even w/shipping, came out to $14! I put them on blast on Twitter as my delivery date got pushed back to this week. I ended up getting contacted by both Walmart AND FedEx and while they have me some crap about increased volume, my package did get delivered to me 3 days earlier than expected so it DID help! It fit great inside my 4Pats tote ( on it's side but still good). I really like seeing that 10 yr date! Hey, I did have that mac n cheese go bad in summer so who knows, might get a bucket at some point in the future...
Tried my Costco mahi w/my shelled edamame over some rice and it was very good! Went to HLS last week for the 1st time in 3 wks ( got my new fave order of 2 cods, 1 musubi and 1 serving of teri beef!) and tried Blane's the same week ( going to stop getting burgers at local places as they are always just the Loco Moco patty, but they DO have a breaded mahi plate for $6.50 that I might get)...
I tried a new closer recycling place and was disappointed as they don't take tin cans either:(....but I am hoping Mr Ks does take cardboard paper boxes/packaging as I would like to get $$ vs just throwing my stuff in their collection dumpster for free, like I did at Atlas..
Reached out to ykw a almost a month ago by sending an unsolicited pic of a river, not doing that again as it resulted in squat...
I did go to Wailoa park 2 weekends ago and it would been more fun if I brought lunch but it was really nice and beautiful ( need to wear my workout shoes to do the bridges as the way up/down ARE STEEP!)..
Yeah, like the ' open ' feel of the gym, esp the entrance which conveys the Hawaiian architecture:) 2 pics down..
