Well, I did it. I managed to get my Yuletide story submitted in time. It was a close thing, but I did it. Then I slept for 15 hours. But I did it.

I know that, in many, many ways I'm a very lucky person. For example, I have a family who is understanding, sympathetic and helpful towards what has essentially been my week-long nervous breakdown. My Yuletide story is finished and posted. Just in time, too! I was worried the archive would be overloaded and I wouldn't be able to get it working in time, but it ended up only taking me about three tries. Happy birthday to me!

And I am ill, depressed, generally out-of-it and feeling panicky. I've bought one present.
