mizzmarvel decided to SHOCK me (are you okay, dear? Are you *sure* you didn't mean Five times Namor and Jim Hammond had sex?) and ask for Five times Connor Hawke was just like his dad.
1. Connor loved Robin Hood as a kid. Every time he asked Moonday if he could watch The Adventures of Robin Hood *one more time*, she smiled indulgently and a little sadly and let him.
2. Because of his semi-hippie upbringing, Connor was conditioned to notice the plight of the poor rather sooner than his Dad did; but when he was thirteen he moved a little further outside the rather fantastical life with Moonday and Robin Hood, and it affected him profoundly.
He asked to go to the ashram--the same ashram Ollie had gone to in a time of guilt--so that he could renounce the priviledges of his youth and learn how to save the world.
3. Connor might have been able to shoot a bow *almost* as well as his Dad, but the one time Eddie convinced him to try shooting a gun, he shot that almost as poorly.
4. Connor was quieter about it--most of the time--but Kyle had had occasion to compare notes with Hal recently, and Connor could be very nearly as self-righteous a companion to see America with.
5. And then there was the time last year with the beard, but everyone is very glad he shaved that off before he left the island and the rest of the world *saw* him. Mia has pictures, though.
