Part One Part Two Part Three Part Four Part Six Part Seven Part Eight Part Nine Part Ten Part Eleven Kyuhyun is shocked over the fact that Zhou Mi, of all people, tops.
He’s never thought that height really is an issue when it comes to things like this. That’s the way it is in manga and manhwa, but this is his life and he was expecting to be in control, because Kyuhyun likes control. But it hasn’t worked out that way at all, and he doesn’t really know why Zhou Mi of all people was in charge, and the only logical answer he has is that he’s the tallest person he knows.
The Game has had three goes so far, not including his brief interlude with himself-that’s not really part of the Game, that’s just for fun-, and all those times somebody else was in charge, helping him.
He wants to be in control. Just once.
They’re still in China, so there are only two people he can try with; Ryeowook and Henry (to be honest, they’re the only two people he could try with anyway). He hasn’t really decided which one of them will be best when he stumbles upon Henry (in Donghae’s room, because that appears to have the best internet signal) talking on MSN and watching videos again and this time Kyuhyun knows that’s his voice coming out of the speakers, because it’s speaking in Korean and he remembers that interview.
“Henli-yah,” he says.
Henry literally jumps off the bed, and mumbles, “Um, hi, Gege,” slightly nervously, as if he’s been caught doing something he shouldn’t. Kyuhyun doesn’t understand, so he crosses the room towards the younger boy, hoping to get a glimpse of why Henry seems embarrassed.
Henry shuts the screen of the laptop really quickly and looks up at Kyuhyun with wide, innocent eyes.
In that moment, Kyuhyun decides it can’t be Henry; he’s too innocent, and Leeteuk-umma will kill him if Henry gets hurt.
And then Henry says, “So, I heard that the geges have been helping you.”
Kyuhyun chokes and wails, completely embarrassed, “Who told you that? Nobody should be telling you that sort of thing!” He doesn’t deny it, because he doesn’t know how to, and because there’s no point. It’s true, after all.
Henry looks affronted. “I’m nineteen, not twelve, Gege,” he says with a frown. “I grew up with a lot of boys. I’m not as innocent as you all seem to think I am.”
Kyuhyun gapes. He’s been doing a lot of gaping recently. He genuinely can’t believe that Henry just said that. First Zhou Mi, now Henry? Is he really the most innocent boy in the group? Really?
“I was thinking,” Henry continues, “that I could help you too, if you want?”
Kyuhyun shakes his head frantically, because now they’re talking about it, he really doesn’t want to do this. It’s not going the way he’d planned it to at all.
“What do you want?” Henry continues, as if Kyuhyun hasn’t already refused his offer.
Kyuhyun would feel embarrassed if he says it aloud, so he doesn’t say anything.
Henry studies him for a moment, and then says, “Okay.” Kyuhyun doesn’t know what he’s on about. “You won’t tell me,” Henry adds, “but I can guess you’re not too pleased with Zhou Mi-ge, which is why you came looking for me, because I’m smaller and younger than you.”
Kyuhyun can’t stop his jaw from dropping again, because he’d never have said it like that, but it’s basically the truth, and he can’t deny that.
Henry chuckles, and he has a strange smile on his face that Kyuhyun usually sees on Donghae’s, and he wonders if Donghae’s the one who taught him that. “Don’t worry though,” he says even though Kyuhyun’s not worrying, not really. “I haven’t been bullied into doing this. I’ve been tempted since you tried on my sunglasses. You should wear them more often-they suited you.”
It is such a ridiculous reason, Kyuhyun thinks, to offer to do that with him just because he looked good in some sunglasses, but he doesn’t really know how Henry’s brain works and maybe that’s logical for him?
“Also, there’s the Me video, because you looked good then, too,” Henry continues.
Kyuhyun’s tempted to ask if he offended God in a past life, because first there were the fans ignoring his existence, then the car accident, next the stylists (knee-high boots, bright blond hair, more layers of clothing than he knows what to do with-and he genuinely can’t stand the heat-and those hideous fur stoles. What are they thinking?), and now there’s Henry, being decisively un-Henry-like and offering himself, and Henry’s nineteen; he shouldn’t be offering anything to Kyuhyun-Kyuhyun’s twenty-two (Henry insists on making them all a year younger than they are, because Western aging starts at zero rather than one year old, so Henry thinks he’s only twenty-one, which is every bit as bad), after all, and he’s only done this once.
Henry puts aside his laptop and stands up, and he’s shorter than Kyuhyun and Kyuhyun has to look down at him, but he is scarily aware that Henry knows full well what he is doing. A second later Henry’s hand is pushing him lightly back towards the door, and Kyuhyun’s feet walk backwards completely of their own volition until his back hits wood. Henry pushes him down onto the floor and Kyuhyun allows him, because he wanted to be in control, but there’s no hope of that the way things are going, and Henry seems perfectly willing, and this is really odd, because he should be objecting profusely to any sort of homosexual behaviour, not encouraging it. Maybe the skinship and the HaeRy, HenMi, HenWook (...and KyuRy? Do they hug? Does KyuRy have fans? Kyuhyun can’t remember, but he supposes if KyuWon has fans, KyuRy must) hugs have affected him more than they should. Kyuhyun just has time to make a quick mental note that skinship can cause mental insanity and then his trousers are gone and it begins.
Kyuhyun isn’t really aware of what happens, except that this time there is heat rather than cold and there is no pain and Henry is straddled across his lap and seems to be enjoying himself, and the fact that Henry knows exactly what he is doing comforts him indeterminably, and he decides that if Leeteuk-umma is going to whinge about Henry no longer being pure, he can go and...Kyuhyun doesn’t know, but he knows that Henry wasn’t pure before this anyway.
Also, it feels really good, because Henry knows what he is doing, and Kyuhyun has decided he likes not being in charge, because he sure doesn’t know what he’s doing.
He thinks he should give in and let others take control more often.
