I'm going to compare Gamel Abd' al-Nasser to Obi Wan Kenobi...if you strike me down I'll only grow stronger. Ok, so Obi Wan dies, but the point is that even though the Brits, French and Israelis colluded to attempt an overthrow of Nasser, their failed plot actually gained him even more support in the region and tons of symbolic capital.
I like that word "symbolic capital." I'm going to go get me some of that.
