Swampy goodness.
My photo shoot is coming together! Thanks to the lovely and talented shutt3rg33k, we have not only a photographer, but a viable site that combines all the things I needed: a pumpkin patch (where I can pose in orange and green camo with such delightful things as 'pumpkins', 'hay', and -- if I'm really lucky -- a scarecrow), an interesting-looking old farmhouse around which I can skulk in a prom dress whilst carrying a chainsaw, a national forest in which I can pose with creepy-looking trees while wearing far too much white and carrying a scythe, and, as a special added bonus, a swamp of my very own.
(And let's be serious here, folks. If presented with a swamp, I will get into the swamp. I will bring a pair of jeans, and a waterproof bag to put them into immediately afterwards, and I will climb into the swamp like a cat climbing into a paper sack. And just like the cat, I will then proceed to rattle around and have more fun than seems entirely sane to the people around me. Unlike the cat, I will have to be hosed off afterwards, but hey.)
Since I'd like to have some of the pictures by OVFF, I need to check with shutt3rg33k, figure out how long development will take, then check with our_meg to find out when my dresses will be done enough for government work, and then move forward from there. I figure that bribing ceolyn to come along and advise me on hair and makeup will be pretty easy, since I just need to go 'look, swamp'. She's a clever girl. She has her own paper sack reactions.
